"THE DISTANCE", THE HUNGRY CHIMERA

My first published short story I wrote in my first semester of my first year of college. I wrote it to represent the constant struggle that soldiers go through with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

"THE COLDEST DAY OF THE YEAR", LONGSHOT ISLAND

I have a particular passion for historical fiction, choosing to linger on stories from World War II. I love researching that time period and the implications of the war had on humanity. This short story was inspired by J.D Salinger's short story "For Esmé– With Love and Squalor" and the works of Ernest Hemingway. I worked to write in a style akin to that era.

"AS NIGHT FALLS, SILENCE GATHERS", DODGING THE RAIN

My third short fiction published is another historical fiction about World War II. This time, it depicts the scene of a battlefield and how light and sound play into the overall chaos of war and death.
